The blade is welded to the handle for exceptional toughness on the job. Two aluminum braces connect the blade to the handle for strength and rigidness in the hardest of materials. A 60 degree angle on the blade provides the optimal curve, or "right angle" to easily push and pull material into place as you spread and level the concrete.
